If you've ever had the desire (or been asked by your administrator) to help your fellow educators increase their capacity to meet the diverse needs of their students and wondered, "How do I do that?" this training is for you!
The Art of Coaching Institute is a hybrid course comprised of 8 asynchronous learning modules that you can complete based on your schedule and 4 live synchronous learning sessions where participants come together to practice and develop their coaching skills in a safe space guided by the instructor.
This course will prepare you to use coaching as a professional learning strategy to deepen educators’ powers of reflection about their current instructional practices and develop decision-making skills that make their teaching more responsive to the needs of their students.
The course is created and led by a fellow educator with over 20 years of experience training coaches. The live sessions use a hands-on, collaborative approach. There will be small coaching assignments between the live sessions that require participants to engage with a colleague at their school to build or refine their coaching practice.

Inspiration and motivation
"What makes Art of Coaching Institute unique is the time we focus on attendees getting to know themselves and their learning community. We do this through guiding teachers in building awareness of their behaviors, beliefs and ways of being – this is what leads to transformational coaching." — Sherry Kinzel.
